12 Days Of Christmas | Christmas Tag

For Day Seven of the 12 Days Of Christmas I am doing a Christmas Tag!
What a way to get into the Christmas spirit and get to know me a little bit better?

The questions are a mixture of my own ideas & questions I've found from other people, enjoy!

1. Favourite Christmas film?
I must admit, I don't have just one favourite Christmas I have a few and they are; The Holiday, Elf, Home Alone and Miracle On 34th Street.

2. Favourite Festive Colours?
I like Christmas Tree green (is that a colour? You know the one I mean), red and gold.

3. Stay in pyjamas or dress up on Christmas Day?
It depends what I'm doing on Christmas Day. Last year I stayed in my pyjama's all day then went out in the evening and got slightly dressed up.

4. Do you open your presents on Christmas Ever or Christmas Day?
Christmas Day of course! Father Christmas brings them Christmas Eve silly!

5. Have you ever built a gingerbread house?
Unfortunately not! I really wanted to make one this year but never got round to it...

6. What do you do over the Christmas Holiday?
I normally take the time to chill out, rest, probably shop be around friends and family and generally enjoy myself.

7. Favourite Christmas smell?
Anything spicy and with cinnamon in!

8. Do you go on Holiday for Christmas or stay at home?
Over the years it's been different. We used to always stay at home but the past few years we have been on holiday for a few Christmases. I much prefer being at home though.

9. Favourite Christmas song?
All I want for Christmas is you, Fairytale of New York, Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, anything Michael Buble... Do you see where I'm going here? I just love all the upbeat feel good Christmas songs.

10. When do you put your decorations up?
As soon as we can! As soon as the December 1st comes round those decorations are up!

11. Favourite part of Christmas?
I personally prefer the build up to Christmas much more exciting than the actual day! So my favourite part is feeling festive and seeing everyone else happy and enjoying themselves.

12. What will you be doing on Christmas Eve?
This Christmas Eve I will be spending with my boyfriend, then coming home and refusing to sleep!

I hope you enjoyed this post.
Let me know your answers to these questions!

12 Days Of Christmas | Wrapping Presents

Only a week until Christmas! Who's excited?!
Today's a short post, I just thought I'd show you how I've wrapped my presents.
Whether you need some inspiration for wrapping your presents or are just interested.

I love using brown paper to wrap my presents then making each present a little different by adding some ribbon to it.
I hope this post was of some use to you, whether it's inspiration or you're just having a nosy!

See you tomorrow for Day Seven of my 12 Days Of Christmas posts.

12 Days Of Christmas | Christmas Make-Up

Day Five of the 12 Days Of Christmas posts!
How are you enjoying these so far?
Today I thought I'd show you the make-up I'll be wearing for Christmas.
Whether that's for Christmas Day or any Christmas Parties I will be attending.
Please excuse the dodgy eyebrows, they really need doing!

I decided to go for a shimmery eye and a bright bold red lip.
Quite the Christmassy trade mark.

The make up I used was as follows:

Arbonne Make-Up Primer
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation applied with a Real Techniques Stippling Brush
Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzer applied with a Real Techniques Contour Brush
Bourjois Cream Blush with a Real Techniques Blush Brush
Bare Minerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara
Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil

12 Days Of Christmas | Making Mince Pies

For Day Four of my '12 Days Of Christmas' posts I decided to try my hand at making Mince Pies - oh so festive!

I have to admit, I didn't make the mincemeat nor the pastry - I would fail had I tried.
I bought Jus-Rol Short Crust Pastry and Robertson's Mincemeat, both very affordable and easy to use. Here's how I made them.

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (200°C for non-fan assisted ovens).

2. Using a small piece of butter, grease a 12 hole cake tray.

3. Roll out the pastry and using a large shape cutter cut out 12 circles and line the cake tray.

4. Fill each pie with between 1-2 teaspoons of mincemeat - the amount you put in depends on how full you want the pies to be & how big your cake tray is.

5. Using the remaining pastry (you may need to roll it up in a ball and re-roll it out) to cut out 12 smaller circles/any other shape you fancy to use for lids.

6. Use water to moisten the lids and edges of the pie then gently press on top and squeeze edges to seal.

7. Use a skewer to make small steam holes on the lids. Then brush water on the lids and sprinkle with sugar.

8. Place the mince pies in the oven for 15-20 minutes until slightly browned, then sprinkle with more sugar and serve on a plate.

I hope you enjoyed this festive recipe, send me pictures on either Instagram or Twitter if you make some!
Keep an eye out for Day Five tomorrow!
Only 9 days left until the big day!
